Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year's eve!   I can't believe another year is almost done.  I guess I better think up my new year's resolutions, maybe one should be to stop procrastinating LOL!  Well at least I've been able to keep up with my challenge for the past 2 months (2 posts per week, with a new project each time that uses patterned paper).  I now have 3 cards made for my new class and just need to make one more.  I might even get a chance to work on that this afternoon.

Here is the second card for my new class.  The stamps are from Crafty Secrets and the patterned paper is by Melissa Frances.  I stamped the images with walnut stain and pumice stone distress inks.  I used spellbinders large and small labels for the die cut shapes. I edges the pieces with versa magic jumbo java and pixie dust and the rhinestones are from kaiser craft.

We didn't get any snow for Christmas but it has been a little bit chilly.  I think Kit is using my Ottlite for a sun  lamp LOL.  She certainly likes to spread out on my stuff and soak up the heat from the light.  She looks so very relaxed :)
That's it for today, I think I'll try and spend and hour or so in my craft room and then get ready for a nice family get together tonight.  Have a very Happy New Year everyone!!!

New Class for January!!!

I've added a new class to the schedule for January, I'm also bringing back of couple of classes that some new customers have requested.  I will post the new January schedule in a couple of days (just as soon as I get a copy LOL).

Here is the first card from my new class.  These cards will be good for Valentine's Day, anniversary or just because you love someone.  There will be four cards in this class.  The stamps for this card are from Crafty Secrets and Basic Grey.  I used fired brick distress ink and red magic versa magic ink.  I coloured the rhinestones with R89.  I also used the Venus embossing folder from craft concepts for the red card stock and the patterned paper is best creations Sweet Love.  It is from a few years ago.
Well I'll be back tomorrow with my second post of the week.  Have a great night everyone and thanks for visiting my blog.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

I almost forgot to post this tonight and I would have totally messed up my challenge if I did.  Here is my final Christmas project for this year.  It is another gift tag I made this week.  It is nothing fancy but I did use up a fair bit of patterned paper.

The paper is from the Bo Bunny "Midnight Frost" line. I edged the dark blue papers with brilliance starlite silver ink and for the light blue papers I used versa magic night sky ink.  I stamped the snowflakes on the middle piece with broken china and chipped sapphire distress ink.  I cut the shapes out with spellbinders petite scalloped circles and labels one.  I also highlighted some of the snowflakes with a sakura clear stardust pen.
Well that's it for tonight I still have a present I need to finish making and some wrapping to do.  I guess I better get to work LOL.  I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!!

Happy Winter Solstice!!!

I'm a little late posting this tonight but I got busy wrapping presents, finally!!!  I'm almost done my shopping and I have most of my presents wrapped my tree and decorations are up.  This is good because 2 days ago I only had about half my shopping done, no tree or decorations up and nothing wrapped.  I was starting to panic, but I ended up getting a day off work and managed to get a great deal accomplished.  I even got a chance to get in my craft room and get a couple of tags made.

For the this one I used Spellbinders Labels Two to cut out the shapes.  The paper is from the Bo Bunny "Midnight Frost" line. I edged the dark blue papers with brilliance starlite silver ink and for the light blue papers I used versa magic night sky ink.  I created the snowflake border on the middle piece using distress ink tumbled glass and broken china and 2 different stamps.  I cut out the stars on the cricut using George cartridge and popped 1 up with 3d dots.  I also used a sakura clear stardust pen to highlight the snowflakes I stamped.
Well it's late and I have to work tomorrow so I'm going to try and get some sleep.  I hope everyone had a great winter solstice!!!   Until next time, have a great day and happy crafting.

Winter Wonderland

I didn't get a chance to use the paper I wanted to last night.  Another idea popped into my head and I decided to try it.  This is the card I came up with.
I was digging through all my Christmas patterned paper and found this random sheet of snowflake paper (it reminds me of a frosty winter day).  I'm not even sure what company it is from because the strip at the bottom was cut off.  I edged the pieces and stamped the greeting with versa magic Niagara Mist ink and popped the greeting piece up with 3d dots. I used a Martha Stewart lace edge punch for the decorative edge.  The rhinestones are by Kaiser Craft and the greeting stamp is from Michael's.
Kit has been keeping me good company while I craft but as you can see she likes to sleep on my paper trimmer.  It kind of makes it a little difficult to use LOL.  I think she likes to soak up the heat from my lamp.

Well I think I better go wrap some presents and perhaps put up some decorations.  I am so not ready for Christmas this year.  Have a great night everyone and thanks for stopping by.

New Christmas Paper!!!

I just knew I wouldn't be able to get to Christmas without buying more patterned paper LOL. I found a couple of great 6x6 paper pads I just had to have.  I've already started using them so I'm quite happy about that.  I'm going to try and use some paper from the My Mind's Eye pad for tomorrow's card.

For this card I used more paper from the Fancy Pants "Saint Nick" line.  The poinsettia stamp is from Stampin' Up set Bells & Boughs and the Merry Christmas stamp is from the set I bought at Michael's (I lost the package and don't know the name of the set, sorry!).  I cut the tag shape out on the cricut and stamped the greeting with aged mahogany distress ink.  I stamped the poinsettia with black memento ink and then used an aqua brush and distress inks (aged mahogany, shabby shutters & peeled paint) to paint the image.  I coloured the pearls with copic marker R89.  I edged the patterned paper and greeting with versa magic red brick ink.

OK, well I'm off to finish some more Christmas Cards as I am quickly running out of time.  I'll be back tomorrow night with another card!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Ho Ho Ho....

...this is cutting it close!!! Here is my second project for the week.  The image stamps are from a Michael's stamp set I bought about a month ago.  I can't find the package and so I'm sorry but I don't know the name of the set.  I used the Santa image a swirl stamp and a snowflake stamp.  I used rusty hinge & antique linen distress inks.  I cut it and mat out with spellbinders large and small labels. The paper is from last year's basic grey Jovial line.  I used copic marker E0000 on Santa's face and the rhinestones are from kaiser craft.  I popped the image up on 3d dots.

Well that's it for tonight and I have a class to teach tomorrow and Monday. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone.

Merry Christmas Snowman!

I'm am so far behind with my Christmas shopping and shipping!!! I finally finished my shopping for my family back east and will be sending it tomorrow.  I still needed to make one more card for my parents.  Here is the last card I needed to make and send.

The paper is from the Fancy Pants "Saint Nick" line.  The snowman was cut out using the cricut doodlecharms cartridge and covered with white fun flock.  I used micro beads for his buttons.  The greeting stamp is from Bombshell and stamped with vintage mahogany.  I popped the snowman up with 3d foam dots and added some rhinestones by kaiser crafts.
Well that's it for tonight, I have to work in the morning.  I will be back with my second post before long LOL!
Have a great weekend everyone.

Phew...That was close!!!

I skipped Christmas shopping tonight so I could get this card made and posted.  I'm fighting off a cold and really didn't feel much like shopping tonight, especially after working all day.  I also had to wait for my husband to be done on the computer in order to post this.

I really wanted to try another card with some different colours for Christmas.  I love the Colourful Christmas line from My Mind's Eye.  I'm not sure what year this is from but it's a couple of years old I think.  The image stamp is a wood mounted stamp by inkadinkado and the greeting stamp is from Stampin' Up.  I stamped the image and cut it out with spellbinders small labels and the mat for it using large labels.  I coloured the image with copic markers (YG25, YR07, E25, BG10 & N1).  I used tangelo Memento ink for the greeting and I edged the image and greeting with versa magic tea leaves.  I coloured the rhinestones with YG25 & YR07.

That's it for tonight, I hope to be back with another card before Friday LOL.  Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Jolly Christmas

What a week this has been,  busy, busy, busy.  So far this week I've only finished one card for my challenge.  I'm going to have to make another when I get home tomorrow night.  Yikes!!! I hope I have time.

This is another card made with a patterned paper image and altered a bit by me.  I distressed the edges and inked them with versa magic tea leaves.  I enhanced a lot of the image with various techniques gold foil, stardust  pen, clear glaze pen & ice stickles.  I stamped the green card stock with a poinsettia pattern that doesn't show up in the picture.

I guess that's it for tonight...it is quite late and I have to work in the morning.  I really hope to have another card to post tomorrow.  Have a great weekend everyone and until next time, happy crafting.

Joyeux Noel!

I did manage to get in my studio last night and get another card made.  I bought this "Eiffel Noel" stamp by stampendous a couple of weeks ago.  I really like this stamp and was looking forward to using it with some vintage style papers.

I stamped the image on a cosmo cricket patterned paper from a couple of years ago.  I wanted to add a little bit of colour so I used copic markers R20 & YG93  on the poinsettias and used a glaze pen on the berries.  I used another poinsettia stamp and some pumice stone distress ink to add a little detail to the edges.  I used another piece of cosmo cricket paper for the background and edged both pieces with vintage photo distress ink.  The rhinestones are from kaiser craft.
OK I managed to get my second post up before the end of the day Saturday so all is well LOL.  I'll be back with another post in a few days!  Thanks for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting everyone!!!

More Holiday Cheer!

Wow! Where has this week gone?  It's already Friday and I haven't had a chance to do any crafting this week. Fortunately I made this card last week end and have it ready to post.

While I had this stamp and die set out last week I cut out a bunch of reindeer and trees.  I used up scraps of Kaiser, Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket papers for the tree's and reindeer sweaters.  I couldn't resist making another one of these snow scene cards.  I coloured the reindeer in with copic E25 and paper pieced the sweater.  I stamped the greeting with Tim Holtz distress ink broken china.  The background paper is from Basic Grey.  I popped the reindeer up with 3d dots and edged the trees with cloud white versa magic ink.
Well I guess I better get in my craft room now if I am going to be able to have another project ready to post for tomorrow.  Have a great night everyone!

Season's Greetings!

So a couple of years ago I bought a Christmas card kit and never made the cards LOL!!!  I was cleaning and digging through all my Christmas card stuff the other day and found it!  The circles came pre-stamped and ready to go, the only problem is that the design of the cards were 4" x 4".  Fortunately I had a couple of extra sheets of the patterned paper so I could make them 4" x 5 1/2".  In the kit they had just layered the patterned paper on white card stock.  I decided to add a layer of burgundy card stock and make the base a soft green.  In the picture the green I used to colour the stripes on the his scarf and hat looks quite dark but it actually matches up to the paper nicely.  I used copics to colour him in (N1, N3, BG70, BG0000, YG93 & YR00) and I used a clear stardust pen on the snowflakes.  I believe the stamps for this card are from Inkadinkado and the patterned paper is from the Kaiser "winter wonderland" line.  I edged the everything with aged mahogany distress ink.

So my little challenge to myself is going well.  Three weeks - 6 posts & 6 new projects.  I hope to be able to keep this up for the next couple of months.  I'm off to prep for a class I'm teaching on Monday.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone. I'll have another project ready to post in a couple of days, until then happy crafting everyone!!!!

A Merry Christmas to All!

Here is another quick & easy Christmas card.  I love enhancing these pictures with all kinds of embellishments. For this one I used a lot of gold foil, diamond stickles, glaze pen and glitter pens.  It is really hard to capture it all when you take the picture.

The image is from the Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium line and the patterned paper behind it is from the Bo Bunny midnight frost collection.  I distressed the edges of the image and used versa magic night sky on the edges and I used brilliance galaxy gold ink on the edges of the bo bunny paper. I coloured the rhinestones with copic marker B97.
Well it's late and I have to work in the morning so that's it for tonight.  I'll be back tomorrow night with post 2 for this week.  Have a great weekend everyone.

A Merry Christmas

Down to the wire....but I managed to get my second post up for the week before midnight.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute.  I've had a very busy week and haven't had a whole lot of time to craft, but I did manage to get this card finished tonight.

I used Webster's Pages "waiting for Santa" line for this card.  I cut the flowers from one side of a patterned paper.  I then covered the image with versa mark and then clear detail embossing powder and heat set it and attached with 3d dots.  The greeting stamp is from Stampin' Up and I stamped it with aged mahogany distress ink. Other inks used are antique linen distress ink, sage & red brick versa magic ink. I coloured the rhinestones with copic R89.
Well that's it for tonight, I must go clean up my studio before bed I have to work in the morning.  Have a great Sunday everyone and until next time, Happy Crafting!

Holiday Cheer!

I couldn't resist this Holiday Cheer stamp & die set (sizzix & hero arts) that came in last week at Scrap Arts.  It is just too cute!!!  I think I want the Snowman Joy set as well.  I love that these dies have the cut edge on the very inside edge so that you know exactly where you are cutting.  I'm not sure what to do about that white edge you get around your image.  Leave it white or colour it in.

Well for now I decided to leave it white.  Here is my first card I made using the set and I used 4 different patterned papers as well.  They are all from basic grey, the trees are from figgy pudding line, the snow is from the bittersweet line and the blue background and sweater are from the eskimo kisses line.  I thought it would be fun to paper piece the sweater to help tie it all together.  I stamped the reindeer with memento rich cocoa ink and coloured him with a copic marker E25.  I edge the trees with versa magic cloud white and the snow with versa magic aspen mist.  I stamped the greeting with peeled paint distress ink and popped the reindeer up with 3d dots.
Also I totally forgot to put my November schedule up so I am going to do that now.  I'll even try and put December's schedule up too if I get the chance.  I will be back in a couple of days with another project to add for my challenge and maybe a couple of other things as well.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. Also on Friday don't forget to take the time to honour all the wonderful men & women of the armed forces who are no longer with us.

Another Quick & Easy Christmas Card

Here is post number 2 for this week....so far so good.  While I had all the Graphic 45 and Cosmo Cricket paper out I decided to make some more quick and easy Christmas cards.  I'm not sure what year these papers are from but I can tell you the name of the paper.  The Cosmo Cricket paper is from the Oh Joy line, I think this is from about 3 years ago (about time I used some of it up LOL).  The Graphic 45 paper is from the Christmas Past Collection and called Victorian Greetings.  I think that one is from last year.

I added some gold foil to some of the branches, fence, decor and house trim. To enhance the apples on the tree and in the basket I covered them with a glaze using a sakura clear glaze pen.  I then added diamond stickles to the snow.  I found the green background patterned paper needed a little more detail so I used a swirl stamp and peeled paint distress ink to add some detail to the edges.  The greeting was stamp is from Stampin' Up and was stamped using aged mahogany distress ink.  I popped the greeting up with 3d dots and coloured the rhinestones with copic marker YG93.

Well I better go try and clean up the mess I made in my studio. I hope to have another project ready for Monday.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend everyone.

First post of my challenge

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween.  I didn't do much, Peter & I took a walk through a local garden that was all decked out for Halloween and I made pumpkin cookies for the first time and was really pleased with how they turned out...so was Peter LOL!!!

Anyway on to my challenge from the last post.  I need to post a completed project that uses some patterned paper twice a week.  I took a look at all the Christmas paper I have and realized I really need to use some of it up.  It was impossible to take a picture to show just how much I have but I tried.
I found several sheets of paper that have different Christmas images on them that make a perfect quick and easy Christmas card.  For this card I used a image from a Graphic 45 paper and used some Cosmo Cricket paper for the background.  I even used a small strip of patterned paper to decorate the inside of the card.
It is really hard to tell in the picture but I added some details to the image.  I used a glue pen to add some gold foil accents to the stars, hat and tree branches and I used frosted lace stickles to his beard, hat trim and snowy areas. I coloured the 3 rhinestones using copic marker YR21.
It is really hard to get a good picture of the details but it looks really nice in person.  Well I'm heading back into my studio now and try to get a few more cards made tonight.  Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting everyone!

Oh My Goodness!!!

...I can't believe that is has been 4 weeks since I've updated my blog.  I have a really good reason for not posting though…I had no new projects to take pictures of.  I haven’t been in my craft room to do anything other than class prep.  I have been so busy with work, birthdays, Thanksgiving (Oct. in Canada) and classes, that I just haven’t had time to do much in my studio.

I did get in there the other day to clean up and organize a bit and found a couple of projects that I had started about a month ago and would like to get finished.  The first is a flip album and the second is a tri-shutter album.  They are works in progress and I will post as soon as they are finished.  This is what they look like right now.

Also when I could get a few minutes to spare I did some coloring.  Here are a few images I colored but did not have time to create cards with. The 2 larger images are by SweetPea stamps from the ching-chou kuik collection and the smaller fairy with red dress is from a stamp set called Fairies of the season by Sarah Williams.  I’m really sorry I forgot to write down the colors I used for a couple of these images but I did write down the colors for the image with the witch with the pink blossoms. (E0000, E000, E00, E01, B000, B60, B63, B66, R20, R00, R39, R81, R83, E41, E43, E44, N1, N3, N5, YG23, Y21, Y23 & Y26)
Well as I was saying in my last post, way back on the first of October, I need to come up with a new challenge for myself.  I'm guessing it should be to update my blog more often LOL!  But seriously I also need to start using up my stash of patterned paper as well.  Just look at the amount of patterned paper I have.  The shelves on the left don't look like they have a lot of paper on them but, it is just the angle of the picture.  They are crammed full of paper. I really need to start using it up.

So here is my challenge to myself.  Update my blog at least twice a week starting November 1st with a completed project for each post, that uses up some patterned paper.  This challenge is ongoing because I have enough patterned paper to keep going and going and going and you know I’ll keep buying more.

And even though I haven't been crafting much Kit does help with the class prep. Here she is supervising my last round of class prep on Wednesday.

Well that's it for tonight, I'm going to go watch the series premier of "Once Upon A Time" on line.  I can't believe I missed it last week.  That's how busy I've been!  I did manage to remember to watch "Grimm" tonight.  I've been waiting months to see these shows.  Well I'll be back in a few days with a new project and post.  Thanks for visiting my blog and until next time, happy crafting everyone!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Can you believe it is October already!!!  I didn't get a chance to make a card today but I finally have time to update my blog.  The last week has been a little hectic....my birthday, finishing class samples, teaching classes and I started a new job.  First of all here are the crafting goodies I got for my birthday.
I have to say I got spoiled on my birthday.  My wonderful hubby got me copics, watercolors, pastels, graphitents, blender pencils and watercolor paper.  My brother & sister in law (and the kids) got me the three cricut cartridges.  I also got some wonderful presents from other family members that are absolutely lovely but not crafting supplies.

One other thing my wonderful hubby got me is another marker rack for my desk, so I could organize things a bit better.  I love the new set up and everything is much easier to find now.

I have to post this card as well.  I made this last month for my hubby's (Pete's) birthday and I forgot to post it.   I'm going to post it now before I forget yet again.  I'm sorry I don't know the name of the gold panner stamp the only info on the side of the stamp is "good stamps stamp goods".  The stamp was given to me by a friend. I colored it with copics and the patterned paper is from the cosmo cricket 6x6 "wanted" paper pad.

Here is the fourth card for my Let It Snow, Man! class. This is the first time I've made a stair step card (I've only made side step cards before)  I really had fun with this card.  All the shapes were cut out on the cricut.  The snowman is from the doodlecharms cartridge and the trees and house are from the Christmas solutions cartridge. I used double sided tape and green glitter on the trees.  I colored the house with watercolor pencils.

Now I'm going to update my last post as promised and post my October classes on my schedule page. Also I'm trying to come up with a new challenge for myself and I think it must include patterned paper in some way.  I have way to much and need to start using it LOL!!!  Until next time have a great weekend and happy crafting everyone.

Let It Snow, Man!

This new class for October is all about Snowmen!!!  Here are 3 samples from the class and I will post the 4th one in a couple of days.  I will also post a few more details on these cards when I post the last card.

Please note I have updated this post on October 1, 2011.

For the first card I used a snowman cut out on the cricut (doodlecharms cartridge), double sided tape and white fun flock. The patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas line.

The second card is done using stamps by inkadinkado, watercolor pencils and the patterned paper is from the echo park wintertime collection.
The third card also uses paper from the echo park wintertime collection.  The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms "Embrace Christmas" and the image is colored with watercolor pencils.
I will also be posting my October schedule in a few days. Thanks for stopping by!
October classes have been added to schedule page!!!

I totally forgot....

....to post the pictures of the other two cards for my "Celebrate Fall" class.  I have been so busy with class prep and work that it just slipped my mind.

If you looked at my class schedule page you will know that I posted a picture of some leaves that I had made using my cricut.  I knew I wanted to use them on a card I just wasn't sure how.  Well I finally figured it out and here is the card.  The background embossing was done with the "leaves" embossing folder by Crafts Too.

The final card for the class is actually cut out on the cricut using the "stretch your imagination" cartridge.  A couple of the cards in this class are very detailed and I needed a quick and simple card to complete the class.  I really like this one for fall or anytime You could switch this up for any time of year by changing the accent colors on it.
Well that's it for today,  I'm headed into my craft studio now to work on some more cards.  I'm planning another new Christmas card class for October.  I'll post any new projects as soon as they are ready.  Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting everyone.

Celebrate Fall!

I'm all about dimension on my cards lately I love to use 3d dots on everything.  Oh and I am getting tons of use out of my cricut right now.  I just love my new cartridge "Wrap It Up", so many fabulous designs and so little time, LOL!

Anyhow I saw a card for fall with a fence on it and I thought I would like to try that.  Then I thought how cool would it be if it was a whole scene.  My idea was to stamp some trees and grass, sponge in the sky and add a fence (using Tim Holtz on the Fence die) then pop up a pumpkin in front of the fence.  Well the fence was too small for the pumpkin stamp I wanted to use.  So I cut out a fence using my new cartridge "Wrap It Up".  Then of course none of my tree stamps were big enough, so I cut trees out on the cricut as well (Stretch Your Imagination cartridge).  I cut the images out on ivory colored paper and colored them with inks and watercolor pencils.  This is for my celebrate fall class that I am teaching at Scrap Arts in September.  There will be 4 cards total in this class.  I didn't add a greeting because I really didn't think it needed one on the front, but I will have several greeting stamps available if people would like to add one.
The second card for this class is a Halloween card.  I taught this card last year but I've had tons of requests to teach it again this year (lots of people missed it last year).  Again its a card with lots of inking and dimension.  For more information about this card you can check out this post from last year.  I didn't use any patterned paper for this card, it is all done with inks and stamps.

Well I guess I better get back in my craft room and finish up the other 2 cards for this class.  I will post them as soon as I have some pictures.  Also my September class list is up, just click on the class schedule tab at the top of the page.

Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Sorry I had the wrong name of the one cricut cartridge I used I had written All Wrapped Up but it is actually Wrap It Up.

Golden Christmas!

I hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer.  It really seems like our summer just got started and now the leaves are starting to turn, the days are getting shorter and the kids are getting ready to go back to school.  I have been really busy the last few weeks.  My husband's 40th birthday was this month as well as our store's 20th anniversary.  We had a huge sale at Big Pete's and lots of fun events for a week.  I haven't been updating my blog much but I have been working on cards for September classes.

I finally finished the samples for my Christmas card class. I must say it is really hard to design Christmas cards when it is 90 degrees in my studio and I'd rather be at the beach LOL.  The first card I made determined the name for this class.  I have made this design before and people loved it, so I decided to use this as a class card.  It is very simple yet elegant.  I used gold embossing powder on gold metallic paper.  Also a very quick and easy card.

Every card in this class has some shimmer and shine to it.  Maybe that's what I should have called the class LOL.  The second card is done using a stamp from the Lovely as a Tree set by Stampin' Up.  It is hard to tell in the picture but the trees have glitter all over them.
This next card is an easel card done with a snowman stamp from Inkadinkado.  I used a sakura clear stardust pen to highlight the snowflakes in the image and the die cut snowflakes.  You can't really see it in the picture.

The poinsettia for the last card is from the cricut cartridge "Wrap It Up" (sorry I had All Wrapped Up here before).  I embossed two of the layers and highlighted it with gold ink.

Well that's it for today.  I will have more to post tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by have a great evening everyone.

Wolves!!!

Well I did get into my studio this week but I didn't actually get any class samples done yet.  I did however manage to get a couple of cards made. I love wolves (however I am definitely a Team Edward person...when it comes to Twilight) and I needed to make a couple of more guy cards and this is what I came up with.

The wolf image for the first card is a digi image.  I really don't know where I got this from, it was just a random digi in one of my digi folders.  I colored it with copics (N1, N3, N5, Y21 & 0) and used a clear glaze pen on his eyes.  The background paper is done using a wolf paw print stamp from Local King stamps and memento london fog ink.  I used versa magic aspen mist & black ink for edging the papers.
The wolf image for the second card is from the Local King stamp set "the wolf".  I again colored it with copics (N1, N3, G40, G82, G85 & Y21).  I embossed the strips of card stock using cuttlebug embossing folder mesh & Tim Holtz embossing folder wood grain.

I guess I better get back to work so I can get those class samples ready.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Classes!

I have been super busy the last couple of weeks and haven't had much time to spend in my studio. I have had time to do a little shopping.  There always seems to be time for shopping LOL!!! Anyway I have picked up a few things over the last couple of weeks and can't wait to get in my studio and try them.  I am taking a Copic class at Scrap Arts this Sunday (I can't wait).  I also got my copics, stardust pens, Basic Grey paper and cuttlebug folder at Scrap Arts!!!
I'm also going to start on some new classes for September.  I'm going to do a Halloween class and maybe a fall card class as well as a Christmas card class.  I will post some samples as soon as I have them ready.  I have put the dates and times for my August classes at Scrap Arts on my class schedule page.

Well I guess I better get in my studio and get to work.  Have a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Back by Popular Demand!

Last summer I designed and taught a class based around the stamp set "Life, Love & Lemons" from Flourishes.  I was going to design a new class for August, but I had so many requests for the Lemonade card class I decided to bring back that class instead.  I had to redesign the some of the cards since some of the patterned paper is no longer available.  Two of  cards are pretty much the same and two are a bit different and I changed up some of the greetings.

Check back soon for class dates & times.
Thanks for stopping by.
