Back by Popular Demand!

Last summer I designed and taught a class based around the stamp set "Life, Love & Lemons" from Flourishes.  I was going to design a new class for August, but I had so many requests for the Lemonade card class I decided to bring back that class instead.  I had to redesign the some of the cards since some of the patterned paper is no longer available.  Two of  cards are pretty much the same and two are a bit different and I changed up some of the greetings.

Check back soon for class dates & times.
Thanks for stopping by.

Fabulous Fairies!

Here are the last 2 samples from my Fabulous Fairies class.  The dates and times for this class can be found by clicking on the class schedule tab at the top of the page.

The 4th card for this class is very simple.  I did not put a greeting on this card but there is lots of space for one.  I usually have a variety of greeting stamps available to use in class.  You can choose one or leave it plain like I did.  The stamp is another one from the Fairyland stamp set by Crafty Secrets.

The 5th project for this class is a bookmark.  I cut the base and the corner pieces out on the cricut.  The image is from the Crafty Secrets stamp set Fairies. I added a light blue ribbon to this as well (I forgot to take a picture after I added the ribbon..lol)
I colored both projects with watercolor pencils and added some glitter with a stardust pen.  Thanks for stopping by, have a great week and happy crafting everyone.

Studio Update!!!

Well as I mentioned last week I finally got my studio rearranged and cleaned up.  You know how it is, you move one piece of furniture and suddenly everything else in the house has to move...the domino effect.  I am happy with the way it turned out and I will probably keep it this way for a few months at least.  Then I usually get bored and need to rearrange again.

It is mostly along one wall of the the room.  I do have some things on the other side of the room but nothing major.  It is mostly the computer and books etc...  I still need to label a few things and sort out a few of the drawers.

The first picture is the whole wall set up. It is about 8 1/2 feet long.  I have my toy collection on the very top shelves.  I can't reach up there so if I put any craft stuff there I would never use it... LOL.
This is my main work area, I still have a bit of a mess stored under my desk but it makes a good foot rest.  Also the green organizer under my desk has all my scraps of paper in it, so it is handy if I need it.  I keep the rubber stamps I use most on shelves above my desk and the rest in the boxes on the shelves above my desk.  The rack I have my inks in I bought at Ikea.  It works well and keeps my inks within reach.
The other half of my desk houses most of my paper and my cricut machine.  The file organizer behind the cricut is on a shelf so that it doesn't interfere with the mat moving through the machine.  The big green armchair in front of the desk is far enough away from the desk that I can open the drawers and is one of Kit's favorite sleeping spots.
Well that's all for tonight, I will post the rest of my class picks tomorrow or Wednesday.  Have a great day everyone.

Happy Canada Day!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Canada Day so far.  I am patiently waiting for the fireworks to start, I love watching the fireworks and I can watch them from the comfort of my balcony. Only a short post today as I don't have much time.

Here is another card from my "Fabulous Fairies" class.  This is an easel twist card and the stamps are from Crafty Secrets & Basic Grey.  I colored the image with an aqua brush and distress inks.  The greeting is from the "tag line" stamp set by Flourishes.

There is another card and bookmark for this class as well.  I will post those pictures later this weekend or on Monday.  Click the schedule tab at the top of the page to find the dates & times for all my classes at Scrap Arts.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful long weekend everyone!
